Uncle Goose L28 Review: Uncle Goose Lowercase ABC Blocks (28 pcs). We bought these blocks and Uncle Goose Blocks - Classic ABC Blocks with Wagon together for our daughter who will be turning two in a couple of months. I'm very pleased with both sets - they are exactly as I expected them to be.The blocks are made of Michigan basswood, and although I'm not familiar with different types of wood, I will say that these blocks seem much harder and denser than our previous set - which is covered with dents and dings and chipped-off pieces.
