ACDelco D1977A Review: ACDelco D1977A Control Module Assembly. The module was easy to install myself and worked like a champ. No problems at all. But did I need it? Nobody seems to know, least of all Buick. I had an intermittant starting problem only during hot weather. I spent over $500 before I replaced this module, and won't know until next summer if I solved the problem.The old ignition module was tested and tested good.
