Audioengine AS8 Review: Audioengine AS8 Black 8-inch Powered Subwoofer. This subwoofer is the perfect companion to the Audioengine A5's. The adjustments allow you to hit its sweet spot and not try hit the higher frequency notes. My only complaint would be that the volume adjusts completely independently of the A5's. So if I want to adjust the volume without screwing up my balance between my A5's and subwoofer, I need to do it with the computer sound card as opposed to the volume dials.The A5's combined with S8 sound more accurate than my Definitive Technology 7.1 ...
